MATERIALS

What materials do you use?

All designs have been handmade using high quality 925 Sterling Silver. Some designs are available in a blackened (oxidised) finish and a 24ct gold-plated finish. These are surface finishes only, and if removed will show the silver metal underneath.

What is a black oxidised finish?

The black oxidised finish is achieved by dipping the sterling silver design into a specialised solution, which chemically oxidises the surface of the metal. With time, some areas of the design may wear and reveal the silver beneath.

If the oxidised finish has worn away, it is possible to have the piece re-oxidised again, to take it back to its original black finish. I offer a re-oxidising service for a small fee, so please get in contact with me if you wish to use this service.

What is 24ct gold-plate?

The gold-plating process is where a thin layer of 24ct gold is adhered to the surface of the sterling silver design. Over time, the gold-plated surface may wear in areas to reveal the silver beneath. 

If the gold-plating has worn away, it is possible to have the piece re-plated again to take it back to its original gold finish. I offer a re-plating service for a small fee, so please get in contact with me if you wish to use this service.

SHIPPING & TURNAROUND TIMES

When will my order be sent to me?

Made To Order items will take 2-3 weeks to be made. Once the item has been made, it will be sent using your selected postage option which will be approximately 3-5 business days for Parcel Post and 1-3 business days for Express Post.

Ready-To-Ship items will be sent within 3 working days of placing the order.

If you need your order sooner than the Made To Order timeframe, please contact me before placing your order and I will see what is possible.

How will my order be packaged?

Each pair of earrings will be carefully enclosed inside one of my branded, eco-friendly cardboard jewellery boxes, with tissue paper for padding, and packaged inside a compostable bubble mailer bag or box ready for sending.

Do you offer gift wrapping?

Yes! If you would like me to wrap your order, please go to my Gifting page where you will be able to add Complementary Gift Wrapping to your order. I also have a range of Plantable Greeting Cards available for purchase if you would like to complete the gift nicely. If the gift is being sent direct to the recipient, I am happy to write in the card for you also. Please let me know at checkout or email me at naomi@naomibishopjewellery.com with instructions. 

What shipping method do you use?

I post all Australian orders using Australia Post Parcel Post with tracking. Express Post is also available as an option for slightly faster shipping times.

Do you ship orders outside of Australia?

Yes! I offer FREE SHIPPING for international orders $200+ or a Flat Rate of $15.00 for orders under $200.

How much is postage?

Postage is now FREE for all orders within Australia only.

Outside of Australia, shipping is FREE for orders $200+ or a Flat Rate of $15.00 for orders under $200.

How can I track my order?

Once your parcel has been lodged, you will be notified of your tracking number via email.

 

RETURNS

What is your returns policy?

I want you to be completely happy with your new purchase and I stand by the quality of my workmanship and materials used to make your jewellery.

I hope you love what you've chosen, but if for some reason you've changed your mind, you can return the unused item to me within 7 days of receiving the order. Return postage is the responsibility of the customer.

If you would like to lodge a return, please contact me within one week of receiving your order so the return can be arranged. Please email me at naomi@naomibishopjewellery.com. A full refund will be made once the item/s have been returned in the same condition they were sent.

If for some reason an item is found to be faulty on delivery, please contact me within one week of receiving the order so I can rectify this for you.

 

REPAIRS

Do you offer repairs?

Yes I do. If you are needing a repair for a design from one of my ranges of jewellery, please get in contact via email at naomi@naomibishopjewellery.com and we can discuss the best course of action and costs.

I also offer a cleaning, re-plating and re-oxidising service for Naomi Bishop Jewellery pieces that are needing to have their surface finishes renewed.

Can you make a replacement earring if one has been lost?

Yes, I can certainly re-make a matching earring or stud for you. Please get in contact with me at naomi@naomibishopjewellery.com to organise this. I will usually ask that you post the remaining earring to me so that I can make a perfectly matched pair and to give the old one a good clean to match the new one.
